"Lots of creative people living in different lands, doing different things, and playing different characters. What they are having is different, but the same things they are doing is filling the earth with colors, with arts."

"Art, like an unlimited well to quench our's thirst. We learn from it and express ourself from it."

The two paragraphs above is my 'sudden' opinion about Art. If you not agree with me, please just ingore it, or you may leave your opinion in the end of this page. I would appreciate it.

SECOND LESSON :: Novelty, Creativity, Innovation and Invention ::

Novelty, Creativity, Innovation and Invention are formed by different alphabetes, but, from wikipedia, i found in between them have some common explaination.

1. Novelty is the quality of being new, and derived from Latin word is 'New'.
2.Creativity is the ability to generate innovative ideas and manifest them from thought into reality.
3. Innovation is a change in the thought process for doing something, or the useful application of new inventions or discoveries.
4.Inventions often extend the boundaries of human knowledge or experience.

Each of the sentence has the meaning of 'In the epoch-making era, every different field ought to be up-to-date'. For instance, everyone knew about the oil-leaking in Maxico, but has anyone think of any effective ways to stop it? Well, i think, human are God's creation, only He can stop it. Perhaps, the day after tomorrow David Copperfield will offer himself to cleanup the gulf?

"well, if any magician can perform this kind of magic, it will be most updated magic performance ever."

BP = Beach Polluter "tat's creative!!"

Besides that, there was another case which happened in Malaysia, was the demolished of historical building- Pudu jail. When i saw the news, the first thing came into my mind was 'pudu jail should be kept and preserved as tourist attraction!' It was not a flawless building, but it's historical value had last for 115years, and Malaysia authorities decided to redevelope it into a commercial area. The taken action has made me reflect on the significance of 'up-to-date' and 'out-to-date'. I think about it repeatly, and finally there is a conclusion for myself.

" Everything in this world works like human's body, they metabolize themself. When a new creation launched, people will blindly follow the trend, and after it has stayed for a long time, it will be replaced by another up-to-date creation. The benefits its bring also will be forgotten."

Today, i gonna introduce an amazing brooklyn artist who can paint realistic human! His name is David Jon Kassan and his painting skills is just like Leonardo da Vinci!

i bet you will wow from the first painting till the last. *wink*

real people standing by the wall ?

realistic wrinkles show that was an old man.

David has painted the emotion, do you think so?

spiritual expression, especially the eyes.

every single details were carefully drawn.

What i thought about after seeing David's drawing, it is the importance of human's self perception. No one can draw things without the understanding of surrounding environment, and 'keep on sharpenning myself' is the best phrase suit for everyone.

Below this is a video of David's real life drawing. The way he drew is absolutely incredible and fantastic, everyone may have a look on it!

How was your feeling after watching his video? tumbs up right? Yes, i bet everyone will.

And now, below this is another video about drawing an old man by using Apple Ipad !

There are more excellent paintings, drawing and videos in his website. Please go for his website and learn from him!

FIRST LESSON :: Define Creativity & My Avatar ::

"My first assignment is about choose one of my friends as my avatar to edit, with descriptions, expressions, experiences..."

It sounds easy, but from the brief stated that "with descriptions, expressions, experiences..", has knit my brows! (>_<) Thats really kill fun. At first, there was a little-tiny-fun, which is my housemates and i, we played cards to decide who belongs to who's avatar. When it comes to the end, Ben was my object to edit. (@_@)
Few days before, I have played the role of photo editor, adobe director, creative director and makeup artist as well. (X_D) The reason for my 'director-statment' is because :

Photo editor : modified the photo and add in vectors.
Adobe director : used Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.
Creative director : photo edited with story.
Makeup artist : applied digital-make on my avatar.

This the original copy from Ben.

After digital-makeup.

smiling face

sad face

Story begins with the combination of smiling and sad pictures.

In this design, I wanted to show the two most common expression of human being. From the edited photo, on the left was smiling face picture added with sun, colourful rainbow and lovely little cabin. The three objects were representing peace and joyful mood.

On the right side was sad face picture added with moon, dark clouds and a dim-colored car. In the photo, both sides pictures are having the same number of objects, but the three objects on right were totally different from the left. Moon, dark clouds and dim-colored car had obviously showed the broken-hearted mood.
Here is the simple plot summary of my story, titled with Grateful Night :
A teen named Ben loves to be in his house, especially spend his time with his family. But time passed in a blink of eyes, after he graduated from secondary school, he has to further his studies by himself. Before Ben depart from home, he has enjoyed the last dinner with his family and promised one-week-one-letter.

:: creative strategies is CREATIVE STUDIES ::

'Creative' this term has reminded me about what my Korean lecture had told in my class last week. She said when she first reached Malaysia, she ordered a Teh Tarik and she felt shocked that Malaysian was so creative and know to use plastic bag to fill in teh tarik. ( But for us, we already know it since our foot stepped on floor rite? :) but, in Korea, people always fill in drinks in paper cup. No wonder my lecture felt so surprised and excited about that. So, Malaysian can proud of it? yea~

P/S:" and she said after she back to Korea, she wants to open a shop that selling drinks by filling in plastic bag, then for those Korean that never experience 'plastic teh tarik' can feel how she felt. "
okay, back to the thing that i should post is 'define creativity'. For me, creativity is create NEW IDEA, NEW INVENTION, NEW STYLE, NEW BEHAVIOUR, and INFINITY OF NEW!!! And from Wikipedia, creativity defined creativity is the ability to generate innovative ideas and manifest them from thought into reality. What i thought do have something common between what Wikipedia defined, which is UNLEASH NEW IDEA AND WORK IT OUT. hm, not saying too much at here, let me show what i've drew.

Before off to bed, i would like to use a phrase that found from Wikipedia as the ending for my first lesson, which is "Creativity is the ability to illustrate what is outside the box from within the box."—The Ride ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Creativity )
